Another easy route leads to Loggari, an isolated, abandoned settlement of stone houses, of aesthetic, historical and architectural interest, and which until recent years was inaccessible by road. The route begins on an unsurfaced road just outside the village of Aghios Ioannis, heading east. Just 1,280 m further on is a smaller unsurfaced road heading north. Some 1,750 m further ahead is a stone path leading uphill through the Lagada gorge, which it crosses in several places, then winds up the right hand side of the gorge.
Retaining walls are still standing and in some places are the remains of the old stone cobbled path. Once past an iconostasis, the settlement is visible, at the end of a 3,280m route. The path continues through the old stone houses to the church and cemetery. .
